But when one of their fellow dragonets is destined to die, the dragonets decide that they have to escape. But when they do, what they find is more prison, more torture and more problems. “Nothing could prepare me more for the change that this book gave me. I now feel more confident about myself, my life, my friends and my family. The Wings Of Fire series is the best out there, and the first book may be the best. It has some gory details, so the squeamish should probably stay away from the book, but other than that, this book has something for everyone. It has romance, complicated relationships, mystery, fighting, a good storyline, detailed scenery and place, and finally, dragons! Who doesn’t love dragons?

*Spoilers! * Some famous lines are:

“The power of wings of fire is inside us all. You just have to look for it.”

“And hidden alone from the rival queens the wings of sand waits unseen.”

“Of three queens blister blaze and burn two shall die and one shall learn if she bows to a fate that is stronger and higher shell have the powers of wings of fire.”

“Five eggs to hatch on a brightest night, Five dragons born to end the fight Darkness will rise to bring the light. The dragonets are coming ….”

We rate this book 9 out of 10

The characters are Sonny, Klaus, Violet, Mr Poe,

Mr Poe's two sons.

Summary

The Bad Beginning is all about Sonny, Klaus and Violet. They are young, kind, beautiful, full hearted kids. They all have special talents and hobbies. Violet loves inventing things and is very straight going. Klaus is very smart and intelligent. Sunny is adorable and loves biting hard things. As you might know these books are part of a series called ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’, so if you can read the title they're not the most pleasant. All within a week the parents perished in an awful fire and all the things like their house and their favourite stuff were destroyed. They got put in the hands of count Olaf. He was mean, cruel and especially selfish. Count Olaf was a horrible actor that planned evil, horrible schemes. What's the scheme you ask? Did it work? Well you'll have to find out!
