Thank you to all our families for your patience in what has been a 

sometimes tricky 2020, we appreciate you.

We wish you all a very Merry and Bright Christmas!

We all love making Gwen's famous Rosemary Christmas Shortbread

Here is her recipe to share amongst you all

Ingredients:

250g softened butter

155g castor sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

300g plain flour sifted

90g rice flour sifted

1 sprig of fresh rosemary chopped finely

Preheat the oven 160c

Grease 2 oven trays

Use electric beater to combine butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy

Mix in flours & rosemary

Pat into a baking tray

Sprinkle with castor sugar

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown

Cool on the tray and serve!

LIBRARY

Library borrowing for 2020 has now concluded. Please return all library, Lexile and home reader books to the school library. Please search the house for any long lost books and return them to the school library as soon as possible. If you find books over the holidays please keep them safe and return next year. 

I want to thank our wonderful Library Helper of 15 years. Jenny is retiring this year. She has stamped, re-enforced, covered & shelved all of our books during this time and we will miss her greatly. Happy retirement Jenny!
