Andrew Samson, Year 3

Congratulations to Year 3 student, Andrew Samson for winning the Grand Final Plate in the Albany Under 8s Rugby 7s Tournament. Andrew plays for the Kalamunda District Rugby Union Club and helped his team to victory by scoring a try in the last few minutes of the grand final showdown. Well done Andrew on this amazing achievement!

 

Jay Lander, Year 9

Congratulations to Year 9 student, Jay Lander who took out the the 2020 State Championship Title for BMX. Jay competed for his team Chase BMX WA placing in all five heats of his age group and ranking as the 14th fastest rider across the 2020 Championships.

 

Jay now holds the No. 1 BMX Plate for 2020. Congratulations Jay on this fantastic achievement!

 

Sophie Anderson and Emily Picciuto, Year 11

Congratulations to Sophie Anderson and Emily Picciuto, Year 11 for winning their team's netball finals in the Southern Districts Netball Association Under 17s Division.

 

Sophie plays for the Jetz Netball Club and won against Bletchley Park Netball Club on Saturday 19 September, after a strong season of play. 

 

Emily plays for the Zodiacs Netball Club and the team's final was played against Forest Crescent Netball Club. A tense and fast-paced game, the Zodiacs ended up taking the lead by six points. 

 

Both girls are looking forward to the spring season of Netball. Congratulations to Sophie and Emily on your sporting achievements!
