Welcome back to the final Term of 2020. We trust you had a wonderful break and are ready to finish off what has been a challenging year to say the least. We have another very busy few weeks ahead of us.

Where the students are at

We have the Year 12 ATAR students here studying diligently in preparation for their final exams. The Year 11s are finishing off projects, studying and completing their certificates. The Year 10s are finishing off their year and planning towards work experience at the end of Term. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for them all. A wonderful way to experience maybe what they think they might like to do in the future. Sometimes it confirms what they want to progress towards or they may change their mind so they can look at other directions and move forwards.

Getting Back to Normal

The start of Term saw us make a few more steps back towards normality. We are all back in the dining room now for our main meals, which is exciting. The gymnasium is almost back to being 100% sport once again. I know the students are appreciating that, just as much as the staff are.

Warmer weather is coming and so are the snakes

The weather has started to warm up at last and with that we are seeing lots of doors left open. Just a timely reminder that in recent years we have had sightings of snakes around campus and with the doors left open it is inviting them indoors for a look. Please close doors for this reason.

Thankyou to Students

A big thank you to the students who have been outstanding in their attitude and behaviour this week upon returning to boarding. Several staff have mentioned this to me. So, well done everyone.
