Year 12 Exit Process

Thank you to the Year 12 General students who finished up at the end of last term and for the manner and smooth exit process you followed. I know there were mixed emotions from students as the realisation came that this chapter of their life was drawing to a close. There are a few students who have returned to finish off projects and some units of competence. I look forward to seeing you all at the Graduation and Prize Day on the 20th November.

Compass

The College has commenced this term with the implementation of a new student management system and database called Compass. All staff are on a steep learning curve and as we know, sometimes it is hard to teach ‘old dogs new tricks’. 

The first module we are using is Attendance. We ask for your patience as we learn the idiosyncrasies of the program and how it functions. No doubt we will make errors or tell it to do things that we intended not to. If you happen to receive notification that your child is absent but you actually know they are present, we apologise and ask that you simply contact the College and let us know. 

Thank you in advance for your patience and assistance as we have our ‘trainer wheels' on and iron out any teething problems. 

Year 11 ATAR EXAM Schedule

The schedule has been provided to the students and exams will commence Friday 13th November and conclude on Thursday 19th November. Information and a schedule is attached for your reference. 

Course Selection Update

Following on from the information provided in the Weekly Wrap at the end of last term, I am scheduled to meet with current Year 10 students on Monday 19th October to outline and commence the process. Parents/guardians will then be provided with the required information and documentation to complete the course selection process. 

Existing Year 11s and new Year 10 and 11 students for 2021 will receive their information in the coming weeks.
