Project Based Learning 

Project Based Learning was introduced this year as a new elective in Year 9. The subject enabled students to explore real-world problems or challenges and find answers through the completion of a project that is developed around their choice and voice.

Last semester the students who participated in this elective, used their creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and teamwork to design a poster to meet the following brief: ‘How do we keep students motivated?’ 

As students worked on their designs they were required to seek and provide feedback to further develop and refined their posters. The unit culminated with students presenting these amazing posters to an audience of all Year 9 students articulating the journey they undertook.
