Well, that’s a wrap for the 2022 winter netball season.

I would like to thank all of the parents and players for their participation. I hope you all enjoyed being a part of John XXIII College Netball Club.

Congratulations to our grand final winners:

Year 9 TOPAZ had a convincing win over Royals 40 – 23. Congratulations Ashleigh Summers, Georgia Philpot, Chloe Fanowrios, Charlotte Nutt, Jessica Keeler, Kate Field, Sanna Twite, Clara North & Mikaela Ross, Coach – Mimi Crofts.
Year 9 Sapphire came out charging in the 4th quarter and beat Iona 29 – 21. Congratulations Eva Wilcock, Ruby Verleg, Lucinda Adkins, Madison Pruitti, Ruby Preston, Lilla Milvain, Indigo Barry, Jazmin Kirk, Coach – Yevonne Gillett.
Year 10 Opal dug deep in the 4th quarter to beat St Hilda’s 40 – 33. Congratulations Meg Derbyshire, Evey Jane Plant, Jacinta Sturley, Sophie Crofts, Amelia Mettam, Jasmine Naismith, Annabel Preston, Eva Papantoniou, Allegra MacMillan, Coach – Skye MacMillan.
Alumni 2 Class of 2016 cruised it in with a big win over West Coasters. Congratulations Maddie Allerding, Liv Allerding, Elliahn Blenkinsop, Laney Gould, Angie Hunt, Paris McDougall, Bec Power, Lexi Watt. Thank you to Summer Delmotte (Yr 11/12 Diamonds) for filling in.

To our teams that didn’t win on the day, what a great achievement to make a grand final, you played well and fought hard. There is always next year girls.

Thank you umpires

It’s not easy to umpire finals, there is a lot of tension and pressure both on court and on the sidelines.

Annual General Meeting

John XXIII College Netball Club Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 17 October 2022 at 7pm Circle of Friends Café, John XXIII College

All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. If anyone has something they would like to discuss please email the club by close of business on 30 September 2022.
