Grandparents’ Picnic

A reminder that students in Mini Minors, String Orchestra and Year 5 Band must have their instruments and music at school on Thursday 13 October, ready to perform at the Grandparents’ Picnic! Primary ensembles will perform in the following order: String Orchestra, Mini Minors, Year 5 Band, Primary Singers, Wanju Voices.

Year 11 Recital Night

Applications are now open for the Year 11 Recital Night! Held in the GBLT on Wednesday 19 October at 7pm, the Recital Night is open to all Year 11s who take weekly lessons on their instrument. Students who learn through the College will have their applications managed by their tutor; students who learn externally can collect a form from the Music Office to be signed by their teacher. Performers in the concert can access piano accompaniment from Mr Dockery, with rehearsals booked through the Music Department.

 

Applications for the Year 11 Recital Night close on Friday 14 October at 4pm. Please contact the Music Office with any queries.

Online Lessons

For students learning at home and requiring an online music lesson, please ensure advice is provided to tutors or to the Music Office on 9383 0440.

 

Please be reminded that all absences from Music lessons due to illness must receive proper notice, by 3pm the day prior to the lesson, to either the Music Office or directly to tutors.
