Sports Academy 2022

Our Basketball Academy activities are coming to a close for 2022. Our  Under 17 and Under 15 Basketball teams had fun and competitive 3 on 3 tournaments at the State Basketball Centre this week. They are welcome to attend some final coaching sessions and gym training sessions over the next few weeks. 

Our Netball team will continue their Waverley night competition through to November. Instead of their regular netball training session last week, the girls enjoyed a pilates session.  We will get an update on their year's activities in the next edition of the Cheltonian.

Sports Academy 2023

As we are heading to the end of the year, we look towards our Sports Academies for 2023. Communication has been shared with our incoming Year 7 cohort and we welcome our new and existing families to make any inquiries to har@cheltsec.vic.edu.au. 

Any age group or gender is welcome to form an academy team. Our academy group does not require a selection or tryout process, we will work to facilitate any team or competition. Our aim is to create as many opportunities as possible, for students to engage with like-minded peers. 

The information provided below is for our Basketball and Netball Academy Teams.  We have recently looked into including futsal or soccer in our Sports Academy and potentially working with Futbal First to help us deliver the program. Any further details on futsal and soccer will be available later in Term 4.

Current students and incoming Year 7 students are invited to complete this Sports Academy Expression of Interest form.
