Yr 12 Celebration Day and Whole School Assembly

Year 12 – Celebration Day – Friday 14/10 – Whole School Assembly – 1B 10.00am

This Friday is Celebration Day for our Year 12 students. To mark this day we will have a Whole School Assembly to celebrate their time at Wedderburn College, all parents and carers are invited to attend. The Assembly will be held in the KLC commencing at 10.00am. A reminder to all Year 12 students that this day is a day of celebration not one of inappropriate behaviour. We have communicated our clear expectations to all students and encourage them to have fun and reflect on their journey at Wedderburn College.

Inglewood Primary School Visit

Last Friday we had all the Inglewood Primary School students from Year 2 to Year 6 attend our college to participate in a Science excursion. Mr Merritt and Mr Monaco had all students engaged in learning in 100 mins of Science. This was then followed by lunch at our College Café, a huge thanks to both teachers and Kylie for preparing lunch. We received great feedback from Mr Johnstone, Principal Inglewood Primary School, some students said, ‘we had a great time and didn’t want to leave’.

Basketball at Wedderburn College

Begins this Wednesday 12 October – 3.30pm to 4.30pm – Year 5 to Year 12.

We have had 20 students sign up and are now placed into teams. Any other students who are interested are invited to come along.

Aussie Hoops – began last Thursday straight after school. We had 22 students from Foundation to Year 4 join in and have a marvelous time. Students received their free basketball so they will be able to practice their skills at home. They also received a free drink bottle. Aussie Hoops runs every Thursday from 3.30pm to 4.15pm. New students are more than welcome to attend.
