National Bird Count Week

Last week some students took part in the Aussie Bird count during lunchtime.  Bird watching was a huge hit amongst students. It was an opportunity to learn about our local birds, try out some binoculars and see what birds we might have in our school. Our statistics were: we submitted 4 bird lists, we saw 16 different species and 65 birds sighted. Huge thanks to our ES member, Sinead, for initiating this lunchtime engagement activity.

Grade 6

The Grade 6s enjoyed their sport incursion with staff from Reclink. They learned to play “Spikeball’ and had a great time learning a new game.
