Active & Alive

School Sport

We are well underway with sport for Term 4. It is wonderful to have sailing back this term and we must start by saying a huge thank you to our incredible General Assistants for all their help each Wednesday in getting the sailboats, canoes and all the equipment out to Lake Canobolas and set up for our students to enjoy. We would not be able to go sailing without them.

Each week a primary class has joined the secondary sailing group to enjoy some time on the water.

Primary students have been enjoying swimming, gymnastics, RDA and therapy.

Secondary students are loving Ten Pin Bowling, indoor golf, Ninja Gym, sailing, walking, gym, EzyRoller games, spa, RDA and Functional Fitness.

I would like to acknowledge the coaches and venues that support our students each week, providing them with wonderful opportunities to participate in fun and engaging activities.

Dream Cricket

On Thursday 27 October, a group of students attended the Dream Cricket Gala day at the Carl Sharpe Cricket Stadium. The day was organised by Mr Murray Paterson and the team from Rotary Daybreak and we thank them for their support and coaching.

It was an excellent day exploring the skills of cricket with other schools from the surrounding area. Many of our students were getting involved with cricket for the first time.

Ten Pin Bowling State Final

Next Thursday 3rd November, our Ten Pin Bowling team is off to the State Final in Rooty Hill. On behalf of the school community we wish them Goodluck and we cannot wait to share the results, pictures and stories from the day.
