Chaplain's Corner

Hi Everyone,  OK, yes I am an animal lover, especially dogs!

Wow, term 4!  It has been great to be onsite this year.  AND with such an AWESOME TEAM who have planned exciting learning experiences once again for this term.

It has been good seeing all the students and staff refreshed from their term break, with many stories of holidays away and times with friends and special activities!

As I have said before, IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD!  Many culture groups around the world still have THAT VILLAGE, in which extended families live together or close by, and where those in the local village/community look out for each other.

In Australia OUR VILLAGE is often very different as families are often separated by distance and we often don’t know our neighbours due to busy lives. Today the school plays a very important part in OUR VILLAGE, especially around social emotional and wellbeing support, and learning for the student as well as their family.  Links to appropriate support are made. We endeavour to work together for the best outcomes for students and families, which in turn will extend to favourable outcomes in the community.

                           “JUST FOR FUN!!! "

So, I look forward to furthering ongoing and new connections as part of your ‘VILLAGE’!

       Take Care!
