Inter House Cross Country

On Friday 21st April,  Marlborough PS students competed in Inter- House Cross Country. It was great to see such positive attitudes and commitment despite the wet conditions. Many students dressed up in their house colours and big thank you to Marlborough staff who ran with their students. I must make a massive thank you to all the parents and Marlborough staff who so generously gave up their time to act as marshals and supporters along the course and at the finish line, especially in such wet and wintery conditions. We could not have run this event so successfully without your help. Thank you to Joel and Jane Barnes for their organisational help.

Congratulations to all competitors and to Cawley as the winning house, followed by Ford, Kenny and Jones.  The first 5 placegetters from the 9, 10,11 and 12/13 year old age group will be invited to  participate in the District Cross Country. The District Cross Country is on the 24th May at Domeney Reserve in Park Orchards.

So, get running! 9/10 year olds will be running 2km and 11/12/13 will be running 3 km.
