Hands On Learning

The Hands on Learning Students have returned to school ready to work on projects around the school.

One of the first projects they have completed is a path in the Horticulture area.

Students worked in the cold windy weather to complete this and were proud of their accomplishment.

Open Day for Universities and TAFE

Hopefully you’re feeling refreshed and ready to tackle subject selection, university applications etc. Please find attached the  Open Day Calendar.

Year 9 Camp

Students and teachers had a fantastic time on camp participating in the many activities including a beach walk, rope climbing, giant swing and the flying fox.  The rain stayed away thankfully and even though it was really cold everyone had a fantastic time. We found out that some of our students have hidden talents with the Melton Camp Talent Show and that our students have no fear of cold water with them entering the water at the beach.  It was a great time had by all.

Science Research Projects

During term three, Years 7-9 students and year 10 Core Science Students will be completing their Science research projects.

Projects are mostly homework assignments with some support time provided in the classroom. Assignments are due in the week starting 15th of August with the date for each class being set by the classroom teacher.

Support materials are available on compass. Parents are encouraged to discuss projects with their students to find out how this is progressing at home.
