High achievers recognised

Academic Excellence

"If life gives you chicken nuggets, you take those nuggets and plant them so it grows into a chicken nugget tree even though it probably goes against all the laws of physics. But you'll never know until you try."

These are the words of Cecil Hills High School graduate Elvis Nguyen. He was one of several high HSC achievers who were recognised at a morning tea hosted by Mulgoa MP, Tanya Davies.

"I had the privilege of hosting my annual HSC Distinguished Achievers Morning Tea, where 19 students from across by electorate came together in celebration of the outstanding results they all received in their HSC examinations.

It was a wonderfully successful morning where each student was presented with an award to highlight their efforts of the past year.

To attain an HSC mark of 90 or above in a course of study is an outstanding achievement that demonstrates an incredible work ethic and commitment to study".    Tanya Davies MP.

"With many  students attaining distinguished achiever status, I would like to acknowledge the dedication and input of teachers, parents and carers that assisted these students,"

Special guest speaker Jake Moir said,  "The most valuable piece of advice I have been given is to know yourself, back yourself and look after yourself."
