Last Friday, my PE class and Miss Paterson went on an excursion to the MCG. Most of us arrived early and waited in front of the gym. At 8:55, we went to the Merri Station to wait for the train to go to the city. The train arrived the moment we got into the station so we hopped on right away. It did not take as long as we thought, as a result, we arrived too early and had to walk outside the stadium for a while. We saw a lot of memorial statues also, they were real life sized. After a while, we eventually went into the stadium and the guide was really nice so she let us in early. Firstly, we were given a wrist band to play games on the lowest floor. They were AI games and some were fun, but some were hard to understand. We also went upstairs to see the museum, uniforms, balls, medals, ect displayed. We also went into a room where they showed a 3D version of an ex cricketer sharing his experiences. We went into a museum later on and we made our way up to the tallest place so we could see Melbourne from a high view. We also took tram 86 to get to a shopping centre. There, we all got food and ate together. Most of us got chicken and fries, they were quite good. Some even went shopping and bought things for themself. At 2:10, we headed to the 11 tram to get to our school, some went straight home. we arrived at school at almost 3pm, it was a really tiring trip yet fun.

First, we all gathered in front of the gym class. Then, we all went to the Merri station and boarded the train, arriving at the Jolimont station. We strolled over to the MCG and snapped some photos of the statues of some of cricket and AFL's greatest players. As soon as we entered MCG, we set our bags to the side, obtained the wristbands needed to participate in the venue's various games, and noticed that Ed Sheeran's concert was being decorated. Then we looked through the old items, including medals, trophies, old jerseys, and many other things. We witnessed Shane Warne's hologram, which was very motivating. We then exited and relaxed in a park for 30 minutes while I munched on a few snacks. After that, we headed into the Royal Botanic Garden, where we briefly wandered. Following that, I grabbed a burrito, chips, and a mango milkshake at Melbourne Central for lunch. I then had ice cream for dessert. From there, we next boarded two trams to go to the school.

On Friday, we went to the Sports Museum. At first, I thought we were going to two classes, but my friends told me to be out all day. On Friday morning, we meet at school. The teacher took us to the station. In the car, we saw a lovely girl. I like her a lot

When we got to the museum, we took a lot of pictures of the statues, and when we went in, the staff gave us a bracelet that we could use to play with things like basketball, catching, and other sports, and we had our own characters I set myself up to be a koala, which was cute, and we went through the project and we started visiting the museum

There are a lot of pictures of football stars in the museum and their clothes, their shoes, their bracers, etc., and there's a big screen in the museum showing some sports. After visiting the museum, we went to another place where you can see more scenery and a stove, which is spectacular.

Finally, we went to take the car to the city Center for lunch. I had a great day.

In the museum, we had many interesting sports activities, watched projection performances, learned about Australia's sports history and culture, and left wristbands as souvenirs. Then, we walked to the Shrine of Remembrance, where the Australian soldiers who died for the war were commemorated, and many medals and national flags were placed, and the city in the distance could be seen. In the end, we took the tram to the city center for dinner and then went back to school.

Last Friday we went to MCG stadium for an excursion. We got there at 9.30am, it was a bit early so we walked around the stadium looking at some of the statues of famous athletes. Then we went to the Australian Sports Museum inside the MCG. We were playing some popular Australian sports. After that we want around the museum to learn about the history of AFL, Cricket and the Olympics. The most interesting thing we did was watch the hologram of Shane Warne. I was surprised because they made it so realistic. Also the story they tell us was very good. After that we walked to the Royal Botanical Gardens and along the Yarra River. We then went to the Shrine of Remembrance. There were really good views at the top and we could see the city to one side and the sea to the other side.

Then we went back to the city, had lunch and headed back to school.
