Student Services : Careers

Two weeks until our Careers Expo

We are very busy in the final stages of preparation for our March 21 Careers Expo for Year 10-12 students – it’s amazing to have so many organisations who are keen to talk to our students about careers in their industry.

Year 11 students will attend the Expo in Session 2 and Year 12 students will attend the Expo in Session 3 during extended Connect.

Our Year 10 students will also hear from 13 guest speakers in the morning when they participate in three x 25 minute interactive sessions to learn more about the career journeys of our volunteer speakers.  These stories are so important, and help our students understand the attributes that can lead to a fulfilling and successful career journey.  We are incredibly lucky to have members of our school and wider community willing to give up their time to impart their knowledge and share their experiences. Thank you so much to our presenters.

We would also like to thank the following institutions for agreeing to spend the day at NHS to chat to our students about courses and careers:
