Student Services : Wellbeing

Join a club and find your folks

The Student Services Wellbeing team annual Clubs Fair was a big hit! Despite the lack of space and competing with the ongoing construction, we had heaps of students across each year level come down to see what clubs are on offer in Semester 1, and even had a few new club ideas pitched to us.

If you’re looking for something to do during lunch time, or keen to make new friends- take a look at the below list and make your way down to where you need to be! There is no need to ‘register’, however if you want more information, feel free to email the staff contact for the club you want to attend.

If you want to suggest a new idea for a club, or just not sure where to go- feel free to pop into Student Services (M11) and speak with Sabatinie or Megan.

Breakfast Club

Just a reminder that Breakfast Club is on Monday and Thursday mornings from 8.30-9am in B6. Thank you so much to our volunteers who make sure everything runs smoothly, we couldn’t do it without you. We are also VERY grateful to one of our students’ parents who generously donated a CREPE maker to Breakfast Club. Thank you for this donation, our breakfast options just got a whole lot tastier!

Harmony Week- 20- 26 March

Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusivity, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone.

Keep an eye and ear out for how we will celebrate Harmony Week at Northcote High School. In the meantime, you can learn and practice simple phrases like 'hello' and 'thank you' in different languages featured in Recipes for Harmony. Go to: Schools (harmony.gov.au) to start your learning.
