From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

It was such a pleasure to see so many of you at St Simon’s and St Jude’s Zoo experience last Saturday evening.  The cool change came just in time for all to enjoy the sights and sounds that the Zoo had to offer. Between the schools and the parish, we estimate close to 3000 people were in attendance which is a tremendous endorsement of how our community comes together.  Feedback from staff and parents has been shared with me, and it has all been very affirming of the experience.  If you wish to share any feedback, please feel free to send a message to office@ssrowville.catholic.edu.au or come and have a chat when I am out on duty.

2024 Prep Enrolments

This week the school formally commenced tours for families seeking enrolment for prep 2024.  Some of our Year 6 action leaders have beautifully led these tours with the support of a leadership team member.  New dates and a second information night in May have been added to the school website, so please encourage any families in your networks with preschool-aged children to come and visit.

Any current families with a younger sibling who is scheduled to start prep in 2024 are able to apply for enrolment now.

We are now using a digital enrolment form and workflow so visit the school website and Click Apply.

The Resilience Project  Replay Video for Parents and Carers

Last Tuesday evening, the team at The Resilience Project hosted a Parents and Carers session via Zoom Webinar. A replay of the session is available here until Wednesday, 5th April.  I encourage all families to check in with the presentation at a convenient time so that you can support your children and the work of the school in developing mentally strong and resilient people for the future.
