St Mels on PAM

School Stream will no longer be used by St Mels from 2023 for parent communciations and upload of absences.  We have moved to PAM (Parent Access Module) which can be accessed from your phone through Simon Everywhere.  Emails were sent out to parents 2 weeks ago with instructions on how to login.  If you have not recieved this please contact the school office.

Please see email contents and instructions below from the email sent last fortnight

Good afternoon parents and carers,

Today you will receive your PAM login for your family account using the email address that is listed for your debtor account. The email will give you the information you need to set up your account.

Once you have done this please download the App Simon Everywhere and follow the instructions on the attached PDF. Simon Everywhere allows you to get push notifications, unlike using an internet browser.

From tomorrow you can use the Parent Notified Absences section to notify us that your child will be away. Attached are instructions of how to do this.

We will be planning an info night for anyone that has not successfully signed in and needs extra support. Keep an eye out for the date if you have any troubles. In the meantime don’t hesitate to call the office if you need help.

UPDATED - February Statements your email inboxes early next week

It is important to remember that the school fees received by St Mel's directly contribute to the resources used by our students (e.g. stationery, technology, excursions) and the running costs of the school.  We rely on these payments to provide a positive and engaging learning and teaching environment for your children.

Direct Debits

As per Audit requirements, we need to have a new signed Authority form each year for Direct Debits to continue, we have been following this up again for the start of 2023.  This will allow us to discuss with families their situation and a payment plan to ensure the annual school fees are met.   If you are not already on a Direct Debit payment plan and would like this to be your method of payment of fees please click on the link below the complete the form and return to the school office.

Centrepay

Centrepay is also available for those families who wish to use this option to support payment of the school fees. This is a convenient way to make payments as it is deducted directly from your Centrelink payments prior to you receiving them each fortnight.

An Information sheet and application form are attached below. Once application form is filled in and signed, please return to school office.

Families Email Address

We ask families to ensure that the office has the correct and up to date email address for billing purposes and sending of fee statements.

This is the main form of communicating relevant information.

If you have not received your Fee Statement it may mean we have an incorrect email address. Please check your junk folder or contact the office with up to date information.

 School Fees & Levies - 2023

Our School Fees & Levies for 2023 have been finalised. There has been an overall increase in fees in line with the recommendations from Catholic Education Sandhurst Ltd.  *** Please note we have moved from a ICT family based fee to a per student based fee.

Please contact the school office to make an appointment with Chris if you wish to discuss your school fees and your individual circumstances further.

School Fees Updates -  February Statement

School Fee Statements will be sent out to families from next week beginning Monday 13th Feb 2023.

All families have or will be emailed their 2023 school fees and individual payment plans .  The majority of these have already been sent, but there are a few to go.  If you have not received an email by 10/2/2023 please get in touch with Karen or Jen at our office.

It is important that you respond to our fees email so that we are aware of your payment plans for this year. Thankyou so much to all those who have already done so.

It is important to establish and set up your payment plans early, to allow you to stretch payments over the year and avoid the financial pressure of late commencement.  At a minimum, we expect fees to be paid on a term by term basis.  We also have a wide range of regular payment options available. Please feel free to call us if you want to discuss this further.

Thank you to the families who have contacted the school office or who have responded positively when our office has called to discuss payment of fees or organise payment plans.

Fee statements will continue to be sent out Monthly by email ensuring that all families are aware of the balances of outstanding school fees.  If you have not received any correspondence by email then please contact the school office to confirm we have the correct email address.

Please check your statements next week.   Should you be experiencing financial hardship we strongly urge you to contact the school office to discuss your situation and a possible payment plan.
