Welcome to Acacia Place 5g!

With Aidan, Ankita and Kylie!

5G has continued their work in literacy where students have been focusing on linking speech sounds to letter names. 

We have been applying this knowledge to our shared reading of ‘Be Kind’ by Pat Miller which also focuses on our school values of being kind to self others and the environment. 

We are continuing our work on number knowledge by counting objects and connecting them to number names and quantities. 

A highlight for 5G has been cooking where we are developing our turn taking skills, measuring ingredients and mixing ingredients together. 

We baked a cake for Ayaan’s birthday and sang him Happy Birthday. Together we have also been busy making Mother’s Day crafts and can’t wait to share them.
