News from Year 6

Well done, Year 6 Leaders!

Congratulations to all the grade 6's, but particularly the Sports Captains (Jade, Oli, Reegan, Rhys, Ethan T, Mia and Amber) for the leadership you demonstrated at the House Athletics Carnival on Wednesday night. It was fantastic that most of our grade 6's attended and participated with such enthusiasm. We were very proud of you all!

Writing

Grade 6 have worked extremely hard this week on their biographies of students in the Grade 1/2  class. Here is a snippet from each:

Aleisha said her favourite sports are hide and seek. She likes hiding and she finds really good spots. Aleisha also likes to play basketball and Tiggy.  She likes being "it" at tiggy and she can run really fast. ~ Oli

When Annabelle grows up she wants to go to Africa and she also wants to be an artist like her mum. Annabelle was a very fun person to learn about and had a great sense of humor.  ~ Ruby S

Archer got an ant farm, chemistry equipment and electronic stuff for Christmas. On Christmas day Archer and his family had a great big breakfast including fruit baguettes with cheese and dip. They also ate yogurt. ~ Willow

Arlo’s favourite subject in school is Japanese. He enjoys making origami and he likes ninjas and he likes school too. He prefers dogs more than cats because they are cuter. ~ Paddy

In his life so far, Blake has enjoyed a variety of sports such as basketball, footy, cricket and netball. He loves helping his mother out with his garden and fishing with his father. ~ Natasha

Blake P is a Grade 1 student at Saint Joseph's School. His hobbies are sitting around and watching TV. He also likes to play on devices. ~ Aden

When Eden was a baby her brother and sister put her hair up in a mohawk and it was really spikey. ~ Amber

Henry wants to be a professional cricketer when he's older, he’s determined and believes he can do it. ~ Izack

If Ivy could go anywhere on a holiday she would go to somewhere that has a Disneyland because she would really love to go and meet all of the Disney characters that she watches on tv. ~ Reegan

Jordan enjoys playing sports. He supports the AFL football team Richmond and the Bulldogs. Jordan is hoping to start Ozhoops soon because he likes basketball and to play with his friends. ~ Sophie

Leo loves playing Minecraft and eating sushi and spicy foods. His favourite colour is yellow and his favourite Youtuber is Camodo gaming. ~ Spencer

Liam has a crazy dog called Maxy who he loves. Liam takes Maxy on walks and he feeds him. ~ Jade
