Gippsland Championship Swimming Sports

On Thursday the 16th, 7 of our students represented Maffra Secondary College at the Gippsland championship round of swimming sports. Our student showed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship during the event, competing in a range of events including freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, and the medley relay.

Our students consisted of:

• Darcy Cater who competed in the 100M Backstroke event. 
• Caitlin Lestrange who competed in the 50M butterfly as well as being a part of the medley relay team.
• Jade Parsons who competed in the 50M Breaststroke as well as 50M freestyle.
• Tara Howell who competed in the 50M Freestyle as well as being a part of the medley relay team.
• Alana Lanigan who was a part of the medley relay team.
• Isla Hawkins who was a part of the medley relay team. 
• Henry Noble who competed in the 50m Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, and breaststroke.
