STUDENT LEADERSHIP DAY

Last Friday we were able to have our leadership team participate in the annual Student Leadership Day. I was lucky enough to be participating in this event myself, and we all learned so much! The day was focused on building our skills as a team and learning how to co-operate with each other. 

We did an African drumming workshop and learned a lot! It was very fun and it was a great workshop.

Next, we did focus groups based on the results from last year’s Attitude to Schools survey. We focused on ways to improve connectedness and student voice and agency at Maffra SC. We had a lovely morning tea provided by the staff and community! We also had team building exercises on the oval with the Wellington Youth council members and we finished our day with some planning for Harmony Week.
