Community News

Emmanuel College

As mentioned last week, we were very excited to have been able to hold the Annual Arts Showcase live for the first time in a couple of years. Families certainly made the most of the opportunity to come along and view student art work in a gallery format and then join the audience to enjoy some spectacular musical and dramatic performances. The students involved should be very proud of their performances and work pieces, hard work certainly has paid off for the students and the teaching staff who worked closely with them. Congratulations to everyone.

Then on Friday, we enjoyed celebrating Father’s Day Mass and breakfast. It was terrific to have so many dads and father figures coming along to share in the students’ faith journey and then enjoy a delicious breakfast as a valued part of our community.

We are grateful that finally we are returning to some normality and being able to enjoy having families on site again.

Please note that applications for enrolment for Year 7, 2024 closed on Friday, 19 August, 2022. If you have a child in Grade 5 and wish to be considered for a place at the College for them in Year 7/2024, but have not yet applied, it is essential that you contact the College Registrar by emailing enrolments@ecmelb.catholic.edu.au or calling on 8325 5119 as a matter of urgency.

We hope to see you at one of our tours or our next experience event in November.
