Express Yourself.  Music and Wellness

The College has been celebrating wellness this week and what better way to be in the moment, be it your deepest moments or your most exhilarating and excited moments, with or through music.  Every week in our music rehearsals and performances we seek that moment that touches the inner feelings of humans and moves us.  This week we saw students turning on the music at the MYPEC and all the Year 7’s filling the stage and the auditorium with music during assembly. It would be wrong of me to forget the amazing performances from both Year Twelve students and Staff during the annual Wellness Week Lip sync Battle. Music is so diverse, and for those who connect with it, it is a treatment for healing and maintaining wellness.  What’s your happy song?  What’s your sad song?  Have you found your voice?
