St Anne's College's inaugural production is shaping up to be superb if today's mini rehearsal is any indication. The cast performed snippets of Annie JR. for an enthusiastic and inquisitive crowd of School of Wonder children this morning. 

Tickets for the production go on sale online on Monday, September 5. Please see the flyer (above) for further details. Since our last edition of il giornale, a decision has been made to provide supper on the production performance nights, so ticket prices have been revised to $20 each.

Directed by the college's own performing arts enthusiast, Sean O'Brien, the heartwarming musical will be staged at the college on Wednesday, October 12, Thursday, October 13 and Friday, October 14 at 7:30pm. 

Annie JR. follows the story of an orphan named Annie living a “hard-knock life” at The New York City Municipal Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie dreams of being reunited with her parents and takes action to find them. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
