Welcome to Week 9
We are coming quickly towards the end of the term. Last week I had the opportunity to attend the National Catholic Education Conference in Melbourne. Many principals from the Armidale Diocese attended. The conference provided me with some great information on the teaching of Religious Education as well as some ideas about the future of education.

...our primary SRC who represented our school on Saturday at the RSL Modern Conflicts Ceremony and thank you to Mrs Stewart who accompanied them
...our 3/4 Tennis team who had a great day in Tamworth yesterday
...our students who last Friday attended the Polding Athletics Carnival in Newcastle and tried their hardest

RUOK Day
Last week we promoted RUOK day with our students K-10. Lots of different activities happened. Year 6 made a human RUOK to raise awareness.
Important Information for Families
As a school, we have been noticing an increase in sexualised language from the earliest years. Therefore we would strongly recommend families log on to this Real talk event this evening to find out more about what our children are experiencing.

If your parents have never attended a Real Talk Session on this topic this one is a MUST!
Just a reminder that this year there are 4 Specialised Zoom Sessions on varied topics (additional to the Primary school parent nights). These are for Parents and Caregivers of Secondary Students and Primary Parents.
