TEN-AGER: Guiding parents through the transition from child to teen with Madonna King.

Are you wondering what issues your child may not be talking about publicly and how experts believe you should deal with it?

With heightened pressure from what is in the media, in movies and on television, ten years of age is the new start to the teenage years! Our guest speaker, journalist and social commentator Madonna King, has connected with experts, schools and children to get the answers parents need to understand how their TEN-AGER is feeling. She will share what you need to know, what to say, and when to stay silent and listen.

This evening will be particularly valuable for parents with children in Years 3 to 6. While the content will have a focus on girls, in any co-educational context, it is also very worthwhile for parents of boys to understand what is going on with their sons’ peers.
