Book Week

On Monday, 23 August, our Prep to Year 6 students enjoyed a workshop with award-winning illustrator Lucia Masciullo. Lucia enjoys creating whimsical characters and dynamic compositions as she works with traditional techniques, mixing watercolour, pencil and acrylic. She generously shared some of her original artworks with the children and described how her inspiration is drawn from her childhood and current surroundings. Lucia guided the students through directed drawings of different characters and inspired everyone to persist with their artistic talents.
