Chaplain's Message

Harriet Beecher Stowe achieved great fame as the author of the novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin. One day she was approached by an admirer who asked is she could shake the hand of the person who wrote the great novel. Mrs Stowe humbly replied, “I did not write it.  God wrote it. I merely did his dictation.”

James 4 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Humility is a wonderful quality - it gives God space to use us in the way that is going to be effective in the Kingdom of God. 

May we have the grace to seek his humility.
