Physical Vibe

Congratulations on such a positive start to term 4 - even though we are still remote learning the smiles and giggles in the Physical Vibe videos has been a pleasure to see.

Here’s a recap of what we have been learning about so far:

Week 1 - Locomotor movement skills

Week 2 - Agility

Week 3 - Balance & Coordination

In our final week of remote learning we are going to finish with ‘Minute to Win It’ challenges.

Events Update

As was communicated on Compass we unfortunately had to cancel the whole school Life Education program and the Water Safety program for F - 2.

Thankyou for your understanding and patience regarding events this year. As you can imagine it is not fun having to be the bearer of bad news but rest assured these events will be offered in 2022.

Virtual Track & Field - School Sport Victoria

All Cranbourne South students are invited to take part in the SSV Virtual Track & Field.

Head to the website to find out how to participate.

https://www.ssv.vic.edu.au/Pages/SSVVirtualTrackandField.aspx

By taking part in this event, students will not only score points for their school, but they will also be improving themselves every time they compete in an event. It is all about self-improvement and achieving personal bests.

Once you have completed your chosen event/s make sure you submit your results via the form on the SSV website:

https://form.jotform.com/212501964059859

You will be asked to enter your school name and then our sporting region which is Southern Metropolitan Primary.

You can also have your results shared with me by adding my email address on the results form:

Environmental Studies

What a creative start to the Term. Week 1 was Australian Animal Week, so we celebrated by creating a picture or model of our favourite Australian animal and then finding out some interesting facts about it. The students did an amazing job, have a look at some of the work below.

Last week we looked at how we can help our planet by reducing, reusing and recycling. The senior school investigated innovative ways to use plastic bags and the junior schools task was to upcycle some trash. The results were fantastic!
