Please note that the Kiss N Go looks different due to the completion of the Capital Works.  Each day more work will be completed. 

Due to safety reasons students must be dropped off and picked up:

• via the Kiss N Go area from a car
• on the footpath area with a staff member.

This staff member will walk the students to the gate when it is safe to do so.

Capital Works update

A great deal has occurred since our last iNewsletter.  Although construction had a two week pause, the tradespeople of Newton Manor Construction (NMC) have ensured that every minute allowed on site, abiding by COVID restrictions, has been maximised on.

Throughout every process, NMC have been in close communication with CSPS key staff to manoeuvre program delivery, to fast pace the completion of an asphalted car park and works to improve water drainage and path access near the Gallery entrance.   This is very exciting to share with the community and students upon their return.

Current Progress (completed last month)

• miscellaneous framing, truss support, blocking out
• retaining wall ongoing
• bored piers complete - storm water complete
• western terrace scope commencement (benching/levelling, retaining walls, Stair 01 preparation)
• carpark (retaining walls 95%, kerb & channel complete)

Anticipated works for Next Fortnight 

• car park completion
• western terracing nearing completion
• southern trusses delivery & assembly
