From the Principal

Dr. Andrew Cousins

Our first week of wearing masks has gone well. I appreciate that this is not an easy task for our students or staff, especially having to wear them for lengthy periods of time. I would like to thank everyone for their cooperation and support for one another in this instance. We will continue to follow the Queensland Government and Health directions over the coming weeks for the health and well-being of our whole Clayfield community.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank our students, parents and staff for the fantastic job you all did last week. Everyone did a remarkable job in adjusting to remote learning with such short notice. Although we did this last year, online learning is much harder than it appears, and everyone stepped up. I am extremely proud to be part of this amazing Clayfield community.

Last week you gave us valuable and helpful feedback regarding your experience with online learning through our Parent Online Learning Survey. We are excited to share a summary of the results with you today!

Over 88% of respondents said they were satisfied or extremely satisfied with the online learning platform/technology that Clayfield College delivered to the students. You have also shown your love and appreciation for our staff, and your support has not gone unnoticed.

We hope this summary is helpful for you.
