In 5/6MG and JC Classes we have discussed RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS and the importance of Gender equality which is a human right, and necessary for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.
First we discussed gender stereotypes- and wondered about our thinking, coming to conclusions about social media, advertising and our backgrounds influencing our thinking.
We listened to and discussed traditional fairy stories and how the characters were presented and the roles and responsibilities each had in the story.
We also discussed many of the jobs people in our world have and shared our ideas about who we thought might most commonly hold these types of positions.
