Year 8 Girls Table Tennis

On Tuesday 11th September, the girls’ table tennis team were ready for a day of competition! They did very well in their first round game, winning all 6 rubbers. They lost their second round match (2-4) against a fairly strong Wellington team. They won their third round match by 2 points with 3 rubbers-all. They were able to play some fantastic matches, and continued to develop their skills in the game of table tennis. In the finals, the girls went down to Wellington (2-4) but I was very proud of their behaviour and sportsmanship on the day.
