Friday Whole School Assembly

This Friday we have a whole school assembly. All students will meet in the courtyard at the start of the day and catch the bus back to Scotsburn after recess.

Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our wonderful Mum’s for last Sunday. We hope you all enjoyed your day and loved the little bits and pieces that made it home with the students. Please also jump onto the SC2 Class Dojo if you can to see a great little tribute to our Mums too. 

Curriculum Day

A reminder that Wednesday 22nd May is a Curriculum Day.  

NAPLAN

This week is NAPLAN week for our Gr 3s and Gr 5s. As we know, this can be an anxious time for students. Please ensure your children have a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast and approach the assessments with a positive attitude.

Cross Country

We would like to congratulate Indi & Quinn for a great effort last week at the District Cross Country. They both performed very well and have made it through to the next round of competition. 

Thanks Naomi

A big thanks to Naomi who made multiple trips down and back to the Buninyong campus so that our students could participate in the various sporting team tryouts. The staff and students greatly appreciate it.

AFL Football Clinics

The first of 4 AFL Football Clinics will take place later this week. It should be lots of fun!

Zones of Regulation

We have been discussing the Zones of regulation frequently with the students so far this term. Discussing with your children the zones that they were in throughout the day might be a good way to find out more about their day. 

Lunchtime Club

Raquel is doing a brilliant job with the lunchtime club on a Wednesday. A steady flow of kids are enjoying the activities which is helping to ensure that their break times are enjoyable. We also have a number of other student led activities kicking off this week. They are:

Hot Milo

Axel will be selling Hot Milo this Thursday for $1.

Our first rotation for Term 2 will be on the (17th May). Our groups will be doing the following:

Term 2 - Lunch Order Roster

Lunch orders need to be collected from the Buninyong campus at 12.40pm. Please ensure you organise a swap if necessary so that the students don’t go hungry!
