Learning Stone

Opening Ceremony  

On Wednesday 30 October, we officially opened the Learning Stone area at the College, bringing together our community to celebrate a fantastic project by our Parks & Gardens, SBAT students. Delegates from the Koorie Education team at DET, LAECG, BCACG, Advanced Community College, ATEP and Westall PS, gathered for a traditional smoking ceremony and cleansing to honour and officially open the space. Thanks to all our guests for attending and well done to everyone involved. Special mention for our MCs, Krista Puia and Jacky Balalovski, who did a great job on the day.

Meet and Greet Night

Westall Secondary College is delighted to invite all Year 7 2020 students, parents and carers, as well as our feeder primary school teachers and transition staff for an informal, ‘Meet and Greet’ night.

The evening will include music, a light buffet, a short presentation and the opportunity for students, parents and carers to meet our junior school staff and ask questions.

This event will also provide an opportunity for Westall SC to formally acknowledge the great work and support of the Year 6 teachers and transition staff from the feeder primary schools.

The event will take place at Balook Centre, Westall Secondary College on Tuesday 3rd December at 6pm.

Westall Points

Congratulations to Amirah Dwi Zahra, who is the first student to reach the ‘Year Level Award’ milestone of 100 Westall Points. Amirah has been the first person to reach all milestones since the ‘Westall Way rewards system began. Well done Amirah!!

Well done to the current top 20 and thanks to staff for awarding the points to our students!
