Learning in J02

Junior School J02 Bakker is sharing the learning taking place in their class…

In J02 we have loved learning the letters in the alphabet.  We have continued to read ‘Milo’s Birthday Surprise’ and been introduced to some awesome characters to help us learn the name and sound for each letter.  We’ve made some cool crafts to help us learn some words that start with each letter.  Take a look!

We have also learnt about Personal Writing and have begun to share about ourselves.  We made self-portraits to share what we look like and did some writing to share our name, our age and our favourite colour.  We have put some of our writing up on display in the Prep corridor for everyone to enjoy.

We have also been learning to write a retell and share the important parts of a story.  Miss Bakker has read some great books and then we share the important things that happen in them through talking about it, drawing a picture and writing about it.
