Head lice have reappeared at St Mary's over the past week.  Your assistance in monitoring your children's hair for eggs and lice and treating appropriately if found is appreciated.

Lost and Found Notice

LOST BRACELET

A brand new gold bracelet was lost at school on Thursday 16th May.

It has large open links to allow charms to be attached but as yet has none. Please let the teachers or the office staff know if it is found.

Thank you for your assistance.

Year 6 Canberra Excursion

An Expression of Interest note was sent home with each Year 6 student earlier this week.  Please return the signed note with the deposit to school by Friday 7th June.  The final cost will depend on the number of children attending.

The Australian Government recognises how important it is that all young Australians are able to visit their National Capital as part of their civics and citizenship education. To assist parents in meeting the cost of the excursion, the Australian Government contributes funding under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate (PACER) program toward the travel expenses incurred.

This payment is sent to the school after the excursion.

We would like to thank the Australian Government for their support of this program.

Woolworths Earn & Learn

Woolworths are running the Earn & Learn program again from 1 May to 25 June 2019.  The stickers can be put on the sticker sheets available from the school foyer.  There is also a school collection box where completed sheets can be dropped off.  There is also a St Mary's collection box at the front of Woolworths where you can drop stickers if you prefer. By earning as many stickers as possible, St Mary's  can redeem these for  new school equipment.
