Class Visits & Instructional  Coaching

The Armidale Diocese is committed to having the Principal being present in classrooms. As a function of this, I will be spending two  full days every week in classrooms in order to help improve the teaching and learning that happens on a daily basis.

Therefore, I may not always be able to speak with you when you drop in or telephone. However, I do really value communicating with parents. So, when the need arises for you to speak with me, I ask that you talk to Rebecca McCann, in the office, who will schedule a time for us to talk.

Semester Reports

As part of our changeover to Compass this semester the report format will change. The reports will still have a grading system from A to E for each subject area and an indication of student's level of effort in each subject. The major change will be to the comments with the new format having one general comment on the students learning. All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will have the same reporting format.

The reports will be emailed out and parents will have access to them via Compass, so it is important that parents have set up their access to the portal through the Compass app.

The reports will go out in Week 10 of this term and Parent/Teacher interviews will be held in Week 3 of Term 3.
