Classroom News - Year 3

NAPLAN

Congratulations to all students in Year 3 who sat Naplan over the last 2  weeks. We are very proud of the way you were all positive, calm and tried your best!

Now that Naplan is over we would really like everyone to keep reading EVERY night and a reminder that StudyLadder is available for all students to revise and consolidate topics covered in class.

Thalgarrah

Year 3 have an excursion booked for Week 8 to Thalgarrah Environmental Education Centre.  This is an enjoyable excursion that fits in with our History Unit for this term. 

Athletics 

Year 3 have been enjoying learning about the Field events that will be included in our Carnival in Week 9.  We have learned the techniques for High Jump, Discuss and Shot Put.  

With the Athletics Carnival nearing it would great for children to keep fit by walking, running or practising for the field events.  

Eisteddfod

Congratulations to the Stage 2 Choir who sang amazingly at the Eisteddfod yesterday. A huge thank you to Ms McNeall who prepared them beautifully!
