Congratulations to Jordan White on attaining an apprenticeship as an electrician with Cove Technologies. Jordan’s journey in the electrical industry began when he undertook Yr 10 VCAL and completed work placement with Cove Technologies. Jordan then decided to complete Yr 11 VCE where he satisfactorily completed all subjects. He then returned to the VCAL program in Yr 12 and again undertook a work placement with Cove Technologies who eventually offered him an apprenticeship. Congratulations again Jordan and good luck.

VCAL Project Week - Clyde North

The end of Term 2 saw Year 10 and 11 VCAL students take part in a school based project week. This year the week was centred around the vegetable garden at the rear of the Coffey Building. Projects included the installation of a new shed and composting facilities next to the garden. Refreshing the garden beds ready for planting. The design and construction of new outdoor benches, where students were able to develop their welding skills. Students also developed mosaics pavers highlighting our new Positive Student Behaviour matrix ROCKS: Respect, Organisation, Collaboration,  Kindness and Safety. Each project will be completed this term and we are looking forward to the garden supplying fresh herbs and vegetables in the coming months.
