Wellbeing

All things remote...

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we head back into remote learning today, my focus as Wellbeing Coordinator is to ensure that children attending onsite are welcomed warmly at the gate in the morning and passed directly into the care of their supervising teacher for the day.

Thank you to all of the parents and carers who completed both the 'Application to Attend Onsite' and the 'Onsite Supervision Intention' google forms by 12 noon yesterday. This morning, I was able to meet your children at the gate and the process of checking names was simple, quick and reassuring.

If you did not complete the google form stating your intention to send your child/children onsite on any days from 5/8 to 14/8, and arrive to drop your children off, there will unfortunately be a wait at the gate situation while a place in a classroom is organised for them.

In order to have staffing and classrooms organised, I am requiring parents to be proactive in submitting their required dates through our google form. I will post the 'Onsite Supervision Intention' google form every fortnight starting next Wednesday and it will close promptly on Thursdays at 5pm. Please place the following dates in your calendars as a reminder to look for the google form link. It will be placed here in the newsletter and also sent out by Sentral email.

  •  12th August (to cover attendance from 17th-28th August)
  • 26th August (to cover attendance from 31st-11th Sept)
  • 9th September (to cover attendance from 14th - 18th Sept)

For those families who may not have filled in an application as they don't require onsite supervision for their child/children yet, I will also post this link. Please understand, 'Application to Attend Onsite' only needs to be submitted once whereas the 'Onsite Supervision Intention' needs to filled in every fortnight.

Staffing and student numbers are now set until Friday 14th August and only under exceptional circumstances will extra spaces be made available. Please call the office if you require further assistance.

Thank you for your consideration of the time and organisation it takes to ensure onsite supervision can be conducted in a safe and welcoming environment.
