National Tree Day with onsite learners last week

The students walked around the school and observed the trees on campus, focusing on the different leaf shape, colour of the bark and flowers. We also spotted 4 different birds nests and even witnessed a bird constructing their nest. The students then completed some questions in a booklet and had the opportunity to decorate and colour it in. 

We've also added a picture of one of our bananas because we think it's pretty amazing that we were able to grow any in this climate!
