Tyler Mitchell - Year 12

Congratulations to Tyler Mitchell (Year 12) who was successful in his application to Queensland Theatre Company’s Enhanced Student Pathways Program. A highly competitive program, this week-long experience offers the chance for Tyler to engage with a range of departments at Queensland Theatre, showcasing the different career pathways the arts in general can offer. As part of this program, he will develop a detailed and authentic understanding of the responsibilities of these various roles and have the opportunity to apply his learnings through a series of hands-on, practical tasks. We look forward to hearing about Tyler’s experience with Queensland Theatre during the last week of this term.

From Tyler Mitchell:

I was incredibly thrilled when I got the email confirming my placement at QTC. I have always loved drama and my class - both the work and the people - are often the highlight of my week as I love analysing different performances and finding meaning in scripts. I have seen many plays but never do I get to see all the work that goes on behind the scenes, so it is with great joy that I get to experience all aspects involved at running a production.
