Year 8

The fun doesn't end at Year 7

Students have had brilliant start to the year. This term, students have challenged themselves academically and built positive relationships with peers. All students have been working extremely hard on their assignments and preparing for upcoming tests in preparation for the term’s conclusion. Well done to all students for trying their best this term!

Camp at Forest Edge

On 23rd – 25th of March, our Year 8 students went to camp in Neerim East. Students engaged in a variety of adventure activities and challenges such as: high ropes, flying fox, bush walking, river sledding, waterslide, regaining, crate climbing and archery. Students increased their self-confidence, worked in teams and built on their independence. Some of the activities were physically demanding, whilst others ensured a mental test. Well done to all students on showing resilience and taking on new and exciting challenges!

Some highlights of the camp were:

  • Spotting kangaroos 🦘 on a short bush walk
  • Beautiful weather for all activities

  • Having some roasted marshmallows at the bon fire, curtesy of Mr. Matricardi.
  • Watching the AFL and films at night for a well-deserved rest
