How to apply for CSEF

Your means tested concession card must be valid on the first day of term one 2022 (31/1/2022) or the first day of term two 2022 (26/4/2022), and be one of the following cards:

  •  Veterans Affairs Gold Card
  • Centrelink Health Care Card
  • Pensioner Concession Card
  • Students of 16 years or older who hold a valid concession card (such as a Youth      Allowance Health Care Card) are eligible to apply.
The eligible parent/legal guardian or student must submit an application by the closing date of 24th June 2022.

If you successfully applied for the CSEF at Sunbury College in 2021, you do not need to complete an application form in 2022 unless there has been a change in your family circumstances or have a new student to add.

You need to complete an application form in 2022 if any of the following applies:

  • eligible new student enrolments at all year levels. This includes Year 7 students
  •  changed family circumstances such as a change of custody, change of name, concession card number, or new siblings commencing at the school in 2022.
  • If you enrolled at Sunbury College in 2021, after applying for CSEF at your previous school, then you need to fill out a new CSEF application for 2022.

Check with the school office if you require clarification.

LOCAL BUSINESSES

The college is in regular discussion with local businesses who recognise that Sunbury College students are generally very respectful and obliging when they are interacting with businesses before and after school.

There are a couple of things that can help when students are entering local businesses and supermarkets which students should observe:

  • Where practical students should leave their bags at the front of retail stores
  • Students should follow the reasonable directions of staff in these spaces

Students and families are reminded that students are representatives of the school and the school can follow up on issues that occur during these times. We trust that all of our students can uphold the college values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Endeavour at all times.
