Athletics Carnival

On Wednesday 10th March, Beaufort Secondary College held our annual Athletics Carnival at Llanberris in Ballarat. Despite windy conditions, our students competed in several track and field events throughout the day, hoping to receive ribbons and House points. Stay tuned to find out the House winners and which of our amazing sporting students have been awarded Age Group Champions.

See below our students competing in field events: javelin, discus, shot put, triple jump and long jump.

We watched many of our students race each other for first in the 100, 200 and 400 metre sprints, the 800 metre run and walk, 1500 metres and finally, to finish off the day, the exciting 4x100 metre relays.
